Atemask【Name】
19【Age】 05.05【Birth Date】 Female【Gender】 5'4"【Height】 130 lbs【Weight 】 Human【Species】 Body Guard【Occupation】 n/a【Orientation】 Deceased【Status】 *Atemask is NOT my personal character, but the person who created her is no longer alive.* Assigned to be the guard who protected the Sun Priestess, a duty handed down to her from her bloodline. She had a very strict and sturdy sense of duty. When she met Kamar for the first time she was very strict and hard on the young priestess upon seeing how reckless the girl could be. Over time the two bonded in a way much like that of sisters, leading to Atemask growing more lax in her ways. Ultimately this led to Kamar's eventual mix-up with the Thief King. A man that, despite their incredibly polar ideas and beliefs, Atemask found herself infatuated with. Arguably jealousy caused problems between herself and Kamar, but the two came back to their senses eventually. Atemask died at the hands of the Thief King to buy time for those working to stop him. Aside from Kamar, Atemask had bonded closely with another lower handmaiden in the Sun temple; Artemis. The two grew extremely close but Atemask kept a wall between them as her focus was settled more on Kamar and protecting her than anything more. In the end, as she lay dying, it was Artemis who sat with her and held onto her. It was Artemis's bracelet that Atemask held onto in her last moments. It was that bracelet that the woman would bind her spirit to in hopes of seeing that she was able to fulfill her duty to Kamar. She wouldn't be able to learn what happened, however, until many years later. |
【Name】 Artemis
【Age】 14 【Birth Date】 04.05 【Gender】 Female 【Height】n/a 【Weight 】n/a 【Species】 Human 【Occupation】 Handmaiden 【Orientation】 n/a 【Status】Deceased A young girl who had been traded over from the Roman Empire. Being one of the more fortunate ones allowed to live in moderate safety as a handmaiden in the Sun temple - tending to the aid of the High Priestess. Her life in Egypt was not easy, though, as her light skin made her a target for many ridicules. As well as advances when she would go out on trades and errands for the temple. This led to her meeting Atemask, who stepped up a number of times to protect her from harm. These instances sparked a deep love for the older woman, and Artemis devoted herself to returning the favor in any manageable way she could. When the events with the Thief King broke out, and Atemask's sudden draw into the man's allure, Artemis found herself breaking many rules trying to cover for the mistakes Atemask would unfortunately make. Though highly jealous, she never let herself slip and kept devotedly following from the shadows. To her dismay she was unable to save Atemask from death and could only hold tightly to her body as it fell cold in her grip. Leaving her mothers bracelet in the hands of Atemask as a passing gift she ran off with hopes of revenge. It ended miserably as she became just another corpse in the battle. |
